Thunderbolt External Graphics Card For Late 2012 Mini Windows 10 In BootBut Im having trouble with Windows 10 in boot camp detecting the eGPU.Ive tried using automate-eGPU EFI v1.0.5 but the program doesnt seem to be detecting the GPU.I thought that maybe its the issue with Windows 10 not recognising the TB1 port so I tried installing Thunderbolt Control Centre in Microsoft Store, but I received an error and was unable to install it.

Getting the Mac Mini to work in OS X Mojave is the easiest process so I would start with that. Getting it to work in Bootcamp is much more difficult and requires executing some code. I did a little bit of research on Fusion drives and that should have no effect on eGPU connectivity. Thunderbolt External Graphics Card For Late 2012 Mini Mac OS X MojaveFor my Macbook Pro Mid 2012 Non-retina GT650M laptop, I did two things to get the eGPU working in Mac OS X Mojave. I had purge-wrangler installed for My AMD RX 580 graphics card. Once purge-wrangler is installed, then run the set-egpu script in command prompt to check the prefer external GPU option for every application in Mac OS X Mojave. Then click on the activity monitor application and press Command 4 to look at GPU history. It should show your Sapphire Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card and blue columns appearing underneath it, meaning that the graphics card is being used. That should be all you have to get the eGPU working on the Mac. ![]() For macs older than 2018 I believe, the Bootcamp partition is formatted as hybrid MBR and runs off of legacy BIOS. The Razer Core X eGPU requires UEFI Windows to be installed on a GPT partition. Therefore, you CANNOT use Bootcamp Assistant to install windows on your Mac. You need to back up your files and folders because you will have to erase the bootcamp partition completely. Once your files are backed up, you need to create your own UEFI Windows 10 flash drive installer using the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool. Make sure the flash drive has around 10 to 15 GB of storage capacity. Warning: this tool will erase the whole flash drive so make sure nothing important is on it. To erase the bootcamp partition, boot into Mac OS X Mojave, go into Bootcamp Assistant, and check only the Remove Windows 10 or later box.
